Savage 16,
Sorry you have not gotten a reply on this, and I'm not going to be any help i'm afraid. I got some 20 ga primed Fiocchi 3" from BPI with the hope of loading some 1oz or 1-1/8 nickel #5-1/2 for my version of a golden Pheasant load. Even with considerable farting around with crimp adjustments, I kept getting the base collapsing before the crimp would close up. I've given up and gone back to STS 2-3/4 because these fiocchi hulls are worthless as far as I can see. Other than looking in all the usual places (Alliant, Hodgden, Lyman, etc, I wouldn't know where to tell you to go for 28 gauge Fiocchi recipes. Good Luck. Wish I could be more help.

New primed Fiocchi hulls need to be trimmed down to 2-3/4". The last batch I got was around 2-13/16" as they came.

You can even trim them down a hair short, better that than long.

Ballistic Products Inc. has a whole mess of 7/8oz. loads in thier 28ga. manual.
The ball no question makes of aye's and no's, but left or right as strikes the player goes!
